A Home Depot Date with Our Bug

Payton had a sleepover with her cousin and left us to live life as a family of 3. It turned out to be so wonderful! Maverick blossoms in ways that blow my mind when he gets one-on-one time. This simple run to Home Depot with coffee for mama and milk for Mav filled our hearts with joy. Overwhelming joy. We took silly selfies, waved an American flag, raced down aisles, and laughed as Mav pointed to everything and said "dada." Scroll for a little boost of joy. Look at that squishy face!

The little moments, if I'm in the right mindset, fill me so full I can't even fit more coffee. That's full. I don't know if it's the gratitude lists or postpartum leaving me or both. I don't really care. I'm going to keep laughing with my husband and my kiddos because they truly are my greatest joys. This might be TMI, but I've been laughing so much I think I need to start wearing pantyliners on the regular. Can you feel me?

After a season of struggling to laugh, I'm grateful for peeing my pants.

I pray you get an opportunity to laugh with loved ones and that it fills that hole you've been trying to figure out how to fix. Laughter is the answer. Joy. Connecting. I'm learning that the life I have, if I stop to look at it, has what I need. I bet yours does, too.

Happy weekend, friends!
